Day Training
Do you have a busy schedule and have a hard time dedicating time to training your dog? A new puppy in the house who needs some help learning the basics?
That's why we offer day training! Day training is an alternative to a typical board and train. Your dog gets a day full of training, exercise, and enrichment and is then dropped off safely at home to spend the evening with you. This is offered Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday with pick up between 8:30-9:30AM and drop off between 3-4PM.
The day training program is limited to 1-2 dogs at a time to ensure thorough and consistent training is happening for each dog. I strive to train your dog to the level of training I give to my own dogs to help you live a more well rounded and happy life with your dog. 4 Week On Leash Program​
(Three times a week (M, W, Th) for 4 weeks)
​
During the 4 Week On Leash Program your dog will learn:
​
-leash manners
-sit/stay
-down/stay
-waiting at thresholds (not running out the door)
-positive/negative markers
-"place" command
-"look" command
-recall (on a long line)
-calm before leaving the crate
-release cues (for food/reward)
-neutrality in public
-healthy socialization

Can also be used as a puppy jump starter program which would teach foundation for all of the above behaviors including:
​
-exposure to different indoor/outdoor environments and noises (fostering confidence and calmness in themselves)
-exposure to different dogs, kids, animals, and people
-intro to grooming and handling at the vet
-potty training
-crate manners
-luring (to help build foundation for sit, down, leash walking, recall)
-exposure to calm car rides

Includes:
Graduation lesson (approx. 1 hr long)
Training collar
Follow 1:1 lesson to be used within 1 year of training completion

Requirements:
Up to date bordatella, rabies, distemper vaccines
Current flea & tick prevention
Crate trained (calm, quiet in crate)
50% deposit to book, 100% due by first day of program

8 week On and Off Leash Program
(Three times a week (M, W, Th) for 8 weeks)
​
10% discount if done within a year of a puppy jump starter program)

During the 8 Week On and Off Leash Program your dog will learn:

-waiting at thresholds (not running out the door)

-"look" command
-recall (on a long line)
-calm before leaving the crate

-neutrality in public
-healthy socialization
-ecollar conditioning (for off leash reliability)
-car manners (down/relaxed in car)
-trail manners (where off leash appropriate)

Graduation lesson (approx. 2 hrs long)
Training collar
Mini/micro educator e-collar
2 follow up 1:1 lessons to be used within 1 year of training completion

12 Week Puppy Raising Program
(Three times a week (M, W, Th) for 12 weeks split into 2 week increments every other month for a year.

Puppies will learn each of the behaviors listed below at age appropriate increments over the course of the program. This program ensures you have a well rounded dog with a foundation to set you both up for success.

-exposure to different dogs, kids, animals, and people
-intro to grooming and handling at the vet
-potty training
-crate manners
-luring (to help build foundation for sit, down, leash walking, recall)
